Posted by: utpike at Mon Dec 15 18:38:16 2003 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by utpike ] i have a california king close to 2feet. i noticed about a week ago that there is a small line of odd scales behind his head. the scales are depressed or almost look missing. they are lighter in color (opaque, about the color when they shed). i never noticed them before, its been about 3 weeks since his last shed. he acts totally normal, very active. he hasn't shown any interest in food though for the last 2 weeks, he did eat a very large meal 2 weeks ago though. i think he's getting close to another shed mode but i'm still curious about the scales. he has a few more odd ones further down his body. could these be mites? i figured they wouldn't look depressed, but bumpy. sorry i have no idea how to post pics on here otherwise i would do it. if you need anymore info please ask but thats all i can really thing of to describe it. | ||
