Hi Chris,
First clutches on cal kings are usually pretty small, expect anywhere between 5-10 depending on her size, but probably 6 or 7
Put your feelers out among your friends who may want one, and that way you may have some sold right away.
If you go to a show...you may want to consider going to one of the vendors and just asking if they are willing to buy you out.
I would find out what the average breeder is asking for snakes that look like yours...then offer to sell them yours at 50% of that price, if they take them all. But don't let them cherry pick you. If you are going to sell them for a good price like that, insist they take ALL of them.
You'll get less money them selling them outright, but the dealer really desrves the markup for sitting there all day with them and feeding and caring for them if they don't sell.
and you get off without feeding them...and your parents are happy.
Show your mom and dad your profit and the snakes will look a little better to them!

Oh, PS if you can't get to a show, you may want to find a good pet store that deals reptiles and make the same offer.
Cal kings are easy to care for and pretty so they are perfect pet-store snakes
