I never have liked the gloves idea. For the snakes sake, it would be alot better biting skin than a fabric. The teeth may get caught in the gloves and break. I do agree about the fear thing but after the first bite you shouldn't be afraid. Besides the thing probably isn't going to bite anyway. In my experience biting is a last resort and usually only tried once.
