Kingsnakes as well as all other snakes will show a feeding response every time they see your hand if the only time they see your hand you are feeding them. They will associate your hand or you with food if the only time they see you is when you are offering a meal. You should handle them more often if you want them to be used to humans.

Also, I have seen boas and pythons much nastier and meaner than a little ole kingsnake. LOL
