I'd be currious to see how they would address this particular issue. Tell ya what,... I will volunteer to be the first person on that there list. How bout them apples?

Look man were fighting for the same thing, fighting among oursleves is pointless. Just under stand this we have a right to bare arms, we do not have a right to bare snakes, according to the gov us keeping snakes is a privilage and one thats they are taking away at a fast pace, if a herp society wants to step up to the plate I am all for a list, the gov is not going to get that list from a legal non profit entity easlily(i.e. the NRA), from one of us they could rather easy and that list would become a target list for things to follow, in private hands its not a good idea!! Look at that NY law, READ IT, they gave any legal organization for the ethical treatment of animals the right to enforce that law(if it passes) do you know what that means??????? HSUS, PETA the local Humane societies will have the right to confiscat anyones animals, what do you think they would do if they found a list like that in someones home????? They would have a hay day and go after every single person on the list, Why??? #1 because PETA and what not want to control all of us they dont see eye to eye with, #2 it would stregthen their cause when they try and push the same law in other states, they could show the politicions all they good they are doing catching us evil exotic owning law breakers #3 they can also use it to their advatage because they can show the other states how much in tax dollars they saved NY because the enforcment of that law was on their dime and not the states, dont you get it? good intentions dude, you need to talk to some people who know, call up Marshal Myers from PIJAC and see what he thinks of this, call Jeff Barringer the owner of ksnake and see what he thinks, it has absolutly noting to do with me being the loudest voice, the list is a bad idea, the rest is as simple as this everything you have stated you wanted to do has been tried before, im trying to save you time, I honestly wish you the best of luck, but its not going to work, your time would be better spent trying to set up an information network to speed up communication amomng the herp socities and already established lines of communication,(big buisness, shows etc)I wanted to do the same thing last year, unlike you I spoke to people who were in the "know" talk to them and theyll tell you the same thing I am, anyway I have more important things in life then this pointless bickering so enjoy the fire, best of luck, i mean that!
