Woot! Questionable egg hatching on day 56!

If anybody read my response post a few days ago to someone else's about dimpled eggs you might remember me mentioning a REALLY badly puckered and dimpled egg I have that's been that way since mama cali laid it...well it's hatching! And on day 56 of incubation, the earliest I've ever had cal king eggs hatch.



I've been so worried about this egg, I had actually laid a fresh piece of damp paper towel over it a couple of days ago. I've been checking the incubator several times a day the last few days as I have 2 eggs from another cali clutch that are on day 65 right now with no signs yet, and I was blown away when I looked in about an hour ago to see the paper towel pushed off this dimpled egg not due to hatch for another 4 days or so and a beautiful little black and white head poking out of it, lol!



It is by far the worst looking 'good' snake egg I've ever had, I'm so surprised and happy!



Will post pics when all the little buggers are out, I don't see any others slitting as of yet but I bet there will be by the time I wake up. Woot!
