Last summer my wife goes driveing around the Fort Worth Nature Center and happens to see an aligator, about four feet in length, down in the bottoms. So her reptile freak husband jumps in his truck, camera in hand, and to this day i have seen no aligators. Ive found several sunning spots with tracks and drag marks, but no gator. This spring i finaly folded and asked the wife to show me where she saw it. While walking to the spot, she stepped right over the top of a cottonmouth. She never saw it until it was over, but i saw her step over it with its mouth gaped open, completly freaking me out, and causing me to push my wife and yell something i still cant remember. Got some realy awsome pics of the cotton afterwards, but where in the heck are the gators? I saw in the paper that there was a siminar recently about them given at the nature center, so aparently she realy saw one. So where? skinner [ Hide Replies ]
