Remember to look in definitions as well as prohibitions. Sometimes, reptiles are listed as wild animals, domesticated or not.
Also keep in mind that if any "new" laws are passed, they may not be updated quickly in the online codes. In order to find out if there are any new laws, you'd need to contact your local animal control.
