Can you ID this kingsnake?

Hi,

Yesterday I purchased a kingsnake at a local pet store that was labeled as a "Desert Kingsnake." However, it seems that its coloration and patterning are a bit different (wider black bands, orange rather than yellow color) than all of the pictures I've seen online.

Is it actually a desert kingsnake (Lampropeltis g. splendida) or can someone offer an alternative species? I'm just kind of curious.
