When my snakes are having trouble shedding, I put them in a tupperware container with holes in it with a warm wet paper towel but not hot. If mine are having trouble, the skin is coming off in pieces. I do this for a couple of hours. This makes them moist enough to shed. I'm not sure that is the problem, but it might be worth a try.
