Posted by: FR at Thu Sep 22 21:26:23 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by FR ] Thanks, and yes, the cross occurred here. To be truthful, and painful at the same time. It was an accident. I was planning on the kingsnake comsuming the thayeri. In a moment of anger, after the female thayeri had killed her second male. I tossed her in with a male Calking(my largest) and they bred for two days, as if they were both the same type of snake. There was no gadgetry or trickery or scenting or anything, he simply bred her as if she would a getulus. As you may know, montane kings have a totally different breeding pattern then getulus. So in this, I was amazed. Thanks, FR [ Hide Replies ]
