Scott,
If you are staying you better hope Rita continues to weaken...She was the 2nd largest Hurricane on record yesterday behind Gilbert in 1988 and ahead of 190mph Allen in 1980....
If she goes to the Sabine pass area I think you will be fine, but if she comes your way as a Category 5 you should just drive away, wait for it to pass and come back at the very minimun....
Good luck to you Scott.....I am glad we are gonna dodge that monster down her in Corpus......It had us running around last night preparing...better safe than sorry.
