It appears that the storm may head a little farther north than first thought. That would spare Galveston and Houston the worst of the storm.

And as afr as the gov't doing their job. They have done a wonderful job in MS, all because Haley Barbour informed FEMA two days before the storm hit that we would need help, and a lot of it. It is not the Feds fault that Mayor Nagin is a loser, and refused the help of the feds to begin with, and then when he saw how bad the devestation was getting, he blamed the very people who he refused help from at the biginning. I'm glad that there is a slightly different response with this storm.
