The boxes at the post office are not free they are provided for the priority service and are included in the cost of shipping that way. You are basically shoplifting from the post office. Also hiding your snakes and pulling tricks is not good karma for the herp industry when you can just go get o.k.ed by Fed Ex to do so legally and above the radar of companies. Granted shipping by other companies besides the PO is legal and just violates their terms of sale it is still better to go the right route. Admittedly I shipped for years UPS and am really calling the kettle black I always told UPS that the box contain snakes. I never had a problem and was upfront about it. Your method is basically saying catch me if you can and that is what gets companies making rules and being hard-nosed. I can give you the number for Fed Ex if you want in fact this is my sales reps number 1-800-310-6643 ext3585. She will probably hate me when she gets a ton of calls but at least there is a number for you. Her name is Heather and she can most likely get you the local reps number for you. Oh and I saw a post on this subject involving you on another forum and from what I was told the local store has very little to say in the matter. At worst you can drive to the nearest Depot and drop them off your self. Also the Kinkos will ship for you.
