**One or two (average) people die each year from snake bite in this country. A large percentage of those were bitten in the wild. More people are killed by horses, sports...the list goes on**



The number of deaths may be true .... BUT here in Arizona over 100 people get tagged by rattlesnakes every year. Most mat not die, but they incur terrible pain and suffering and huge hospital bills. Death isn't the only deterrent.
