mex mex getting the babies to start eating pinkie

Hi can someone help i cannt get the babies to start eating pinkie i try split brain,toads sent and gecko scenting maybe i am not doing it right do i keep the pinkie in with the lizard over night or just get it wet with the lizard please help thank tina
