I've been stuck in n. MI for almost 19 yrs, Todd, and have been trying to make the most of it, studying the literature and the few herps here, and researching my ratsnakes and maintenance. I'm anxious to get to a climate more suitable for field work. After all, with the ground frozen for a good five months and most of that time covered in snow, there's a short season for herping activity here. Can't wait to be herping all year and not having to go to work all the time. Since I've been going to AZ I've been getting a little used to it and I like it 
Herping with you and Forky in w. TX would be awesome. I remember seeing some pix of his property out there. Maybe someday.
Here's another G. V. king that has a lot of black. I like it, but it's not as contrasty as yours. I think I like yours even better...haha.
