ok this snakes starts out gray then turns lavender... i had another light male that had lavender bands from head to tail and i understand what you mean.



honestly i dont think the extreme hypos are just simply a hypo Honduran, matter fact i don't believe any ruby eyed hypo is really a hypo, i think the gene came from the hypos but it's something else.



i think that genes are just as you tried to say. they are not simply defined as what we call them there is much more to it.



i seriously think if an extreme and a darker ruby eyed "hypo" bred together they'd produce all ruby eyed offspring. if they are simply "hypo" you'd get an even distribution of dark eyes and ruby red eyes.
