I am in the same situation, maybe worse...

Stupid f****** cat figured out a way to slightly pull a few tubs out of my rack (lesson learned, I installed horizontal bars to lock tubs in). I lost two adult speckled kings. I found the huge male under the stereo rack right away. I have been searching for the smaller female for four days. I had the washer/drier/refrigerator on their sides so I could see up under, tore up carpet in the basement, took apart the boiler, ruined a lazyboy.....I am at wits end.....nuthin There's nowhere else to look. I fear that the male ate her!!! I had been cleaning them out for the winter, so he was damn hungry. I am soooooo bummed. I'm dreading finding remnants of snake in his next crap.....
