well the hinges i got sort of "locks" the window in a horizontal position... and there is a thin layer of clear silicone that connects the base of the wood to the window.



you can kinda see what i mean in this pic... the Blaze is crawling out onto the window, i'm not holding it open... but it'll stay that way. (hope that is clear?)





in my latest enclosure i placed a stripe of wood there are as back up ( very first shelf)... i'll be using this in any other enclosure i build.
