How right you are why have um if u can't enjoy them... for now i like these "visions" but surely when i expand my collection, i'll use rack systems.



the openings vary from 5" to 8" but i think 7" is ideal.



it isn't hard to reach back there even with the 5" opening but i wouldn't suggest 5" if your snakes are aggressive.



I use Flex watt heat tape along the back of the enclosure... i recommend using the 11" heat tape, the 3" doesn't pump out enough heat unless you double it (place to 3" side by side to make 6"...)
