If you know what kind of turtle it is, I might be able to help. If its a midland painted, then it is "native" to Ohio and therefore we have to jump through a bunch of hoops to keep it. Otherwise, I would be willing to take the turtle if you can ship him in a warmed box. The best solution would be to try to find a reptile shop somewhere in your state.

The pond is murkey conditions are awful. I took a cat that needed placement but a turle is beyond my ability to care for please help
