Breeding questions

cm_reptiles Feb 04, 2008 12:31 PM

I am told a female should breed at age of three right? and a male can produce at 18 mths? Also can large males breed females of the same size or do I need to slim them down a bit? I have a 6ft male and a 6ft female. Also can one male breed more then one female? How do people go about that? DO they put them all in together or one at a time? How does one know if the female is done and you can move the male?

MINIMAL 3 years on a female, 4 is better

Minimal 18 months on a male but some will not produce at that age.

Same size is fine, provided female is old/large enough.

Some cool others do not. This year I just put them together and they went to town.

Most of mine were bred as individual pairs, Did have a 2.2 group that did just fine. Males did get moved once ovulation occured and male was no longer interested.
