I was wondering if anyone would recommend a good basic care and fact book for King Snakes. I have people to ask questions of but I would like a reference as well. Thank you.

I honestly don't have one for kingsnakes in my library. What I recommend is to grab whichever one looks good at the petstore for a start, and then keep an eye out for others as you peruse sites like kingsnake.com.
Brian Hubbs out of California is big on kingsnakes. He has two books that are on my wishlist. Mountain Kingsnakes, and Common Kingsnakes - The natural history of Lampropeltis getula
