thank you. on top of the usual 2 dogs, a cat, 3 fish, we also have 2 iguanas, an albino corn snake, a tortiose & 3 degus, so a salamander is really not a neccessity. it is doing well now, this is day 3, but my son said he will let it back outside after school. thanks again. jenn
