Very descriptive Marcia

I had eggs this last clutch that turned brown and I was sure they wouldn't hatch but they did. I used vermiculite the first time and perlite next. I got some Hatch Rite to try but it looks like perlite with water crystals (?) in it. You are supposed to not have to add water to it. We'll see.
