As for the state of things in Mass., don't even get me started. The technical de-listing of spotted turtles there simply screams "not okay to own or breed, but fine to pave over." I suppose it doesn't matter to me much in the regard that real estate in the entire state has got so expensive I'd never be able to go back--guess I'll just have to enjoy my spotters here in Japan.
