Sounds awful. I don't know what they are willing to do, but I frequent the Amazon Reptile Center in the Inland Valley. They often have animals that they take in and try to rehabilitate. They also have a knowledgable and caring staff. This animal might be a little more than they want to commit to, but they might be able to point you in the right direction.
