Everytime I'm seen them in pet shops around here they feed them goldfish. This always confuses me because green snakes have always readily eaten crickets for me, and crickets are readily available in pet shops so why not just feed the green snakes crickets?
They also insist on feeding their ribbonsnakes CRICKETS! I usually just get mad and leave before saying anything.
