Make sure your flourescent lights are the kind that provide UVB light. They use UVB to convert pre-vitamin D in their skin into active vitamin D3 which is then used in regulating the absorption and metabolic deposition of calcium. I have used the Arcadia from deerfernfarms and it's been great. Lasts longer than typical 4' tube. Just make sure you mount it so that it is close enough to be useful.
