8 feet is a great lenght for a black and white but at only 2' wide i'd be alittle concern, both cages though would be perfect for a blue although i've notice the trend that blues aren't staying as small as they use to, lol. Maybe someone else will shine some more light on this issue becuase i'm more of a blues person not so much a black and white.
