Do his bites actually hurt? I don't bother with gloves, as I don't mind it if the little guys give me a nip or two....but then again I am used to messing around with larger more aggressive snakes. Baby dums that are in "feeding mode" especially those who think they are hiding...are more likely to strike. It is not super common to have a baby who likes to strike after being removed from it's enclosure.
