i've been keeping them for almost 6 months now and since then i havent encountered any serious problems.. the white spots disappeared within a few sheds without any medications (provided with proper husbandry).. now i have 5 A. granulatus and every1 of them is a very good eater.. i havent experienced deaths with these snakes so i guess i'm doing the right thing.. i have more problems with my nerodia then filesnakes.. good luck
