Haha, I completely agree with you actually. I haven't seen my toad in nearly a week. I would be concerned if it weren't for his periodic "chirping" letting me know he is still alive! I guess this answers my question of splitting a 29g aquarium.

PS I remember reading a while back about one sex being more vocal than the other. I'm not sure which was which, does anyone know? Mine "chirps" when I play music loudly or my bird is squaking.
