The crab will kill the frogs the day it gets them. Dont use a crab .
If you want and water is atleast an inch what about ghost shrimp . You could use cheap bamboo they sell it at home depot or any plant place.
They grow great in wet/damp bottom and dont need special light. Indirect window light is fine .
