I named him Vicious. He's calmed down a bit since I've had him so the name doesn't fit as well. Found him near the town of California Hot Springs among sycamores and oaks right next to a creek. I grabbed him while he was looking for an opening between me and a Sierra Gartersnake. He is 17 or 18 inches long. I'm hoping to catch a bunch more soon for a breeding project.
