Calico it seems is not a inheritable gene like albino..... Not simple recessive or Co-DOM

more by chance or something...

There are NO calico babies EVER!!!!

There are Pieds as babies though!!!

THERE are some Co-Dom or Dom variations for sure!!

as there is with caramel albinos - i also think its too soon to rule out anything including dominant genetics, which is why i will hold these back, breed them to the opposite calico and then both our hunches can be confirmed.
