The offspring will definitely be subject to predation if left in the tank. The best bet is to provide good laying areas that are portable (small pieces of PVC, small fake plants, etc.). In your case you have two choices: let them hatch in place, and hope you can remove the offspring before they get eaten, or move the bamboo and eggs to another container for incubation.
