I've never weighed mine.. so I don't know what a good weight is. I've always gone by the SCL [ straight carapace lenght ]. Again this is based on my hatchlings following the diet amounts on Redfoots.com. 3" @ 6 months.. 4" @ 12 months.. 5" @ 18 months.. typical.

As usual - there are always exceptions and extremes!
