We used to trim their claws, but don't anymore. The cages have cork sheets on the back and sides and they can't climb properly with trimmed claws.

Some of our frillies will claw us up. Mostly it's a case of them not feeling secure and trying to get a better grip on their new perch (our hands and arms). In this case we hear long sleeve sweatshirts and leather gloves. Problem solved.
