Does anyone trim their frilly's nails? I recently got a trio that are a little over a year old and when i take them out their nails cut my hands...

Does anyone trim their frilly's nails? I recently got a trio that are a little over a year old and when i take them out their nails cut my hands...
We used to trim their claws, but don't anymore. The cages have cork sheets on the back and sides and they can't climb properly with trimmed claws.
Some of our frillies will claw us up. Mostly it's a case of them not feeling secure and trying to get a better grip on their new perch (our hands and arms). In this case we hear long sleeve sweatshirts and leather gloves. Problem solved.
frill dragons need to be able to climb to feel secure and bask, i recomend NOT trimming the nails because it will disable them to be able to do such things. my water dragons usto really cut me up. all you can do is just not actualy hold them but let them purch on you, or fully secure them.
Thanks both of you for the replies. I never thought about that, they need the long claws for climbing... so i guess i will leave it be!
