I have C. bibroni bibroni, the Fiji Boa, which seem to be very closely related to australis, and I have three in one tank: two males and one female. No problems at all.

They tend to sit in one big pile and share hides and actually seem quite sociable (for a snake). However, they are all about the same size, don't know if that makes a difference at all.
