I doubt it's possible because it's not just two different genus but different familys. Caiman are part of the alligator family and the croc is of course part of the croc family. It could be possible but highly unlikely, both families seperated from each other way before the dinosaurs went extinct so they've been diverging from each other for atleast 65million years.
