Live feeders are ALWAYS the better option. It promotes mental and physical health of the animal by making them "hunt" for food which keeps their instincts stronger and also gives them a bit of exercise as well. The premade foods in my opinion should be nothing more than a rare treat or food for the roaches or other feeders you use.
