Can I get away w feeding my frilled commercial bearded dragon diet to suppliment its diet. Sometimes I'm away for long weekends and I worry about my juvies having enough food. I tried it once and they gobbled it up.....thoughts?

I'd say consider yourself lucky that they'll eat it. I know several people who supplement their frilleds with prepared bearded dragon diet. I wish mine would take it. Anyway, I think the key is that you said "supplement" -- I would never feed it to them as a staple diet but as a supplement or to make sure they have adequate food while you're away, it should be fine.

While you are away you can offer them safe feeders like phoenix worms or silkworms. These feeders can be kept in the viv with them at all times with no risk of them being bitten by them. Hope this helped

So are you saying the bearded diet is no good for them or that you just prefer to use live feeders?

Live feeders are ALWAYS the better option. It promotes mental and physical health of the animal by making them "hunt" for food which keeps their instincts stronger and also gives them a bit of exercise as well. The premade foods in my opinion should be nothing more than a rare treat or food for the roaches or other feeders you use.
