He's my first hybrid, so I'm not sure the answer to your question on the color. He was just a cool critter that I just couldn't pass up. No plans to breed him, really no plans to breed any of my colubrids for that matter, I just enjoy having them in my collection.
Never say never of course, but I'm an amatuer with the colubrids, I'm much more comfortable with my ball python breedings! LOL
