Mine was the month after 9-11 also.
They only want to verify the address on the form and your Drivers license matches up with your street address.
My "inspector" showed up at my house, (and he knew me) and rang the doorbell and I answered, and then said hi, and walked away.
I later asked him (when I was picking up some snakes,) why didn't he come in, he said, hell no, I don't want to see any snakes! LOL!
