Yep...this is the same snake. Only that time it was a cockatiel egg.

I'm hoping for babies this year also. Male and female are living together. I haven't seen any courting behavior though. Perhaps they mated some time when I wasn't paying attention. Anyway-Dasypeltis have been known to store sperm and since they mated last year this may not be too important.
