Curious how many others are working with these neat snakes? I produced some babies last year and am hoping for more this year. This is my adult female Dasypeltis medici medici.

Awesome! Are you the one that posted that fantastic series on the FHF Captive Bred Forum?

Yep...this is the same snake. Only that time it was a cockatiel egg.
I'm hoping for babies this year also. Male and female are living together. I haven't seen any courting behavior though. Perhaps they mated some time when I wasn't paying attention. Anyway-Dasypeltis have been known to store sperm and since they mated last year this may not be too important.
I am keeping D. medici as well. I plan to breed them in a few weeks if all goes according to plan. If I wasn't so technologically inept I would post a pic or two for you. Its nice to see some people who are keeping them, doesn't seem like there are all that many.
Thanks
Mike
