Nice one! What is the max amps?

I found some inexpensive, compact thermostats online - plug into wall, plug heater into thermostat - but they were preset, and not for herp-related temps. The one you have is much better.

Then there is this one - bi-metal sensor. But you have to run wires to it (doesn't just plug in). $13. And the differential is rather hi, like 8 deg. But it is still a good device for a high limit safety. The picture is acually larger than the device.
